Family Fest is a music, arts, and family activity festival showcasing diverse talent throughout the day in tandem with fun filled family activities.
Talent from the Brazos Valley will fill the stage in the Amphitheater Area when the doors open at 11 a.m. Crowds will bask in the spring air, lounging on the grassy knoll while local musicians and entertainers showcase their talent.
The Festival Area will host an array of family activities. Local civic organizations and churchs will host Carnival Booths. The children will enjoy the classics of bean bag throwing and face painting. Kids and adults alike will love the Discovery Zone with race cars, motorcycles, and more. The pinnacle of the Festival Area is the Midway. How many big kids can resist the Quad Bungee Jumper, the Rock Climbing Wall or 30 Foot Saber Toothed Tiger Slide? Kids small to large can jump, bounce and roll around in the inflatables and sports games.
The event is hosted by Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, a non-profit focusing on children born from unplanned pregnancies. The day is designed to unite families, honor children and promote adoption.
